Day 2 & 3 Mood: TGIF....in my sleepy voice

Yawn...I'm so tired :)

The kiddos and I stayed up late watching TV in bed. It was fun laying with my babies but you could tell the house isn't the same without Justin. We were all missing him. Luckily he will be home next Wednesday to help us end our insomiac ways.

I can't wait to have lunch with JoAnne on Monday. We are going to a nice little restautrant named Souther Reciepe. We are going to discuss having some kind of shabang for Justin's 30th birthday. He will be 30 this year in August. How exciting!!

Well, I should be getting back to work, still missing you J :P

Hasta!

Day 1 Mood: Sleepy & Stressed....

Day 1.

Couldn't sleep last night, at least I have Bella and Mammacita to keep me company. We laid around watching TV, played with a few toys and then did some dancing in our jammies.  That was lots of fun! Nothing like dancing to "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," when there are no boys in the house!
Lots to do today, lots of planning for work...so busy! Here is a great tip for stress:

It figures that National Stress Awareness Day would follow so closely on the heels of one shrouded by tax issues and concerns. Each of us probably suffers from some form of stress at one time or another, so the question is what should we do to quickly and easily get rid of it? And coming to our rescue is a remedy that utilizes the power of the flower to facilitate relaxation, reduce stress and help to heal body, mind and spirit. A flower essence is a highly diluted infusion of flower blossoms distilled to a liquid form and taken orally, most popularly under the tongue. In fact, recent studies that monitored both the brain waves and other physiological reactions in participants who took specific flower essences, a significant reduction in many differing stress levels were recorded and attributed to the intake of said essence. In this case, to leaf (pun intended!) stress behind and to be able to come out of any challenging situations smelling like a rose, try a bit of a flower essence called Mimulus, an essence developed to restore complete equilibrium and harmony throughout your entire body. Just a couple of drops taken by mouth a few times a day will soon have you feeling fresh as a daisy and satisfyingly stress free. Take that taxes!

Enjoy!

Feng Shui Tip of the Day

We loved it when we saw that today was Look Up At The Sky Day since there's a famous Russian remedy appropriately called 'The Breath of Life' that tells us to do exactly that. It comes from the P.K. Ivanov pantheon of ways to recharge and rejuvenate simply by standing and looking up at the sky.
1.Once out of doors, stretch your head gently so that you're looking up at the sky and open your mouth.

2.Inhaling slowly only through the nose, draw in a deep breath from the air above.

3.Swallow the air instead as you begin to slowly exhale, visualizing this pure energy infiltrating and spreading throughout your body. Then exhale and repeat two more times from the beginning.

Ivanov preached that this practice not only cleansed and strengthened the aura but could help to prevent overeating as well. In fact, he often advocated doing this short exercise prior to eating any meal. So, let's see, you can cleanse your aura, increase a healthy circulation, move stale energies AND lose weight? This quick tip should have you walking on air, as you swallow it as well!

Rest in peace little man...

Buddy "Hamhocks" McKenna
2003-April 7, 2009

We have lost a dear part of our little family last night.
Buddy "Hamhocks" McKenna, started life out roughly. He was subjected to abuse and living on the street til a nice elderly couple took him in. He lived in peace with them for a couple of years. Unfortunately they could not take care, nor afford to keep Buddy; Justin just happened to be selling to a small pet shop when he encountered the couple. They graciously gave Buddy to Justin have a better home and life. Buddy happily joined Justin and has been a loving & awesome pet since. We couldn't have asked for a sweeter cat.

(Taken April 5th, 2009)

(Buddy liked my new bangs)

(Buddy making sure Mammacita knows who's boss)

(He saw another black cat out the window, and was intrigued)

(Do you see his cute little white patch? So adorbale)

(Buddy and Mammacita in a staring contest, you guess who one?)

(No more pictures please)

(This is his model shot :P)

(enjoying some catnip and a quite spot to sit)

er;">(Hehe he saw his own reflection and thought, man I'm cute!!)

Christmas basket suprise!

(his favorite, sleeping with Dad)

(The Three Amigos)
(Justin sleeping, Buddy watching TV & cuddling :))

I first encountered Buddy on my first visit to Justin's home. While I was asleep, Buddy took a liking to me; when I woke he was sleeping right on top of me like we were ment to be pals! I knew instantly that him and I would have a special bond, but definitely not like his connection with Justin.
(Double Trouble)

You will be greatly & deeply missed little man!! We will always love you and never forget you!!

r;">So Buddy, Buddylious, Billy Bud, BuddyWuddy and lastly Little Man.. til we meet again...

(Buddy & Tiger)

A note to friends & family. If you can and are willing please adopt an animal. There is to much over crowding and under caring of animals in our country. Let's help them have better lives, homes and happiness. You never know what you will get in return.

"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened. "

Colorado here we come

I'm so excited. Justin and I will be taking a trip to Colorado to visit some of his family and see the sites. It will be my first time to explore Colorado, which I'm really looking forward too.

I definitely can't wait to meet Justin's family either. I know its been along time since he's been up there just to visit. He was very fortunate to visit his family for a few hours on a business trip last year, and has been hoping to go back since then. I'm so happy we will be making the trip.

I'm literally ecstatic about going, time to start planning. Check back later this month for updates!!

Planning, Planning, Planning....

WOWZERS!!! I never knew planning a wedding was so much work. It makes our brains hurt...literally. :P

But the thought of being in front of our friends & family celebrating our lives together, gives us hope.

We've been talking a lot about weddings lately, and have been keeping all of our options open. We would really like to continue our plans in Mexico, but not sure if some of the most important people will be able to make it.

Again when we know more, we'll be sure to let everyone else know as well.

Until then we'll be planning, planning, planning! Thank you for your patience and support.

Love you all,
Connie & Justin
